Komodo Island is an island located in the Nusa Tenggara Islands, east of Sumbawa Island, which is separated by the Sape Strait. Komodo Island is known as the original habitat for Komodo dragons. This island is one of the Komodo National Park areas managed by the Central Government.

Administratively, this island belongs to the West Manggarai Regency, Komodo District, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Komodo Island is the westernmost tip of East Nusa Tenggara Province, bordering West Nusa Tenggara Province.
